So why are none of us Hunters talking about the 30 x 30 Intiative?

Considering 190 countries are involved in 30x30, I find that slightly unlikely. We’re not that important sadly.

They’re at the table with the goal of protecting biodiversity through protecting habitat, the target being protecting 30% of the world by 2030. Felt like we may have covered that though.
We did indeed cover that, and we learned, from the horse's mouth, that protecting biodiversity through protecting habitat is the means, not the goal. The goal is to sequester $140,000,000,000 annually, and possibly sequester co2 to "fight" climate change.
The 30% is a global figure, there's no reason why they might not declare the entirety of Canada as a Global Park. They might let us continue living here, as long as we stay in our 15 minute cities. Kind of like the people in Jasper or Centre Island in Toronto. That's what Sockboy meant by "post national State". He sees it as great feather in his cap to win favour with the Globalists.

What are ; Russia, China, USA, Brazil, India, Australia, Algeria, Kazakhstan, Chad, Sudan, Argentina, Peru, Congo, Tanzania, Mozambique, Angola, France, Spain Germany, Indonesia, Mexico, etc doing?
Here's a prediction, the bulk of the "protected" area will be in Antartica, Greenland, BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan.

yeah, well, a few of you are really having hard time seeing that those who lied to us 24/7/365 for the past 3 years also behind 30x30/climate change...there's some serious psychological power at play to ignore it, got you boys right to the edge of the water but you're simply not thirsty enough yet
but what happened in the last 3 years that did not happen 4 or 5 years ago that you re aware and no one else is?
disclosure, about all these hot button topics, about who's been pulling the strings, about how they pull the strings...step back, take a deep breath, Pharma/medical industry being exposed now (plandemic/vaxx), elections being exposed, climate change is being exposed, media being exposed, what's happening to the children all around the world is being exposed, the two party divide game is being exposed (this thread, every thread lol), how the world REALLY works is being exposed through all this disclosure, one drip at a time...the last 3 years it's been drip, drip, drip quickly so we got hammered with disclosures about a ton of the hot button topics....why? because we need to wake the fack up, so what's holding you back? why can't you see that yet?
and brace yourself....after this quick drip drip drip phases....you know what comes next? hopefully you can see the direction this has been headed, it's not going the change now, and all the people that are waking, all those who've been awake, aren't all of a sudden going to be wrong...you still haven't figured out what side of the line to get on and maybe can't even see the line yet, but it's there and all this disclosure is designed to get you there, on your own good time of course

No MiG, afraid it just doesn’t matter what you’re shown, you have an impressively inflexible way of thinking. The mental gymnastics in this thread where anything the governments of the world come together on has to be some giant conspiracy to take something from… Western Canada, a place many of them surely aren’t aware exists… Well just like with most conspiracy theories, they vastly overestimating our importance, and politicians.
If China or Burkina Faso doesn’t fully comply with their commitments to 30x30, that’s beyond my control. Sure, I’d like it if they did and believe it’s necessary, but I’ve seen the habitat protections work here in Canada and seen them fail when not enacted in some of our last tracts of intact, contiguous old growth rainforest. If 30x30 makes more conservancies here in Canada, and my home in BC, that’s a win. Saying because you’re not sure the other signatories will fully complete their commitments, we should do more clear cutting, gill netting, and strip mining is like saying because my neighbour went broke and burned the house down I’m going to as well, on principle.
Protecting habitat is actually one of the few major initiatives that does irrefutably benefit the common citizen of the world. Intact wilderness is an asset, saving it doesn’t #### your future, quite the opposite. This is a wet rock in space, with definite limits to support us. Again in overestimating our importance, many seem to believe it’s much more than that, it’s not. Maybe not in some of the older generations lives here who are used to the view of an unlimited world of resources, but the younger generations will see the limits of this little rock hurtling through infinity tested as the earth’s population peaks and our collective desires grow.
Saving for the future isn’t stupid, even if our neighbours may not save in the same way we hope they will. It’s like African hunting to non-hunters. You may not like the people, but they end result is beneficial for all. This truck was parked right on my main camp outfitting, believe me it’s not prettier up hill. This drainage is gone, clear cut, and this habitat is not like Alberta where’s its meant to be periodically wiped out and regenerate. The salmon run in that drainage used to be big, now it’s not even worth fishing and the bears that did don’t show up anymore. This is what I base my opinions on, and I see it writ large across BC. The rifle picture is directly across the channel, in a conservancy.
