I've scored no LEH tag authorizations in the last twelve years. 0/12.
But I've since changed my hunting style and have had great success in the last three years in the GOS. The LEH simply cannot be relied on for a successful hunt, and even getting an authorization doesn't guarantee you'll actually harvest said animal.

Nice man I hunted out of Edziza last year for goat.. me and my 11 year old daughter got one too. Beautiful country up there.

I know the feeling. I haven't had a successful LEH draw in 12 years. This draw finally broke that string of bad luck.

I heard the corrupt NDP government in BC may reopen Grizzly bear hunting in BC to LEH authorizations again.
Anyone else heard this? Or is it bullsh1t?
I guess the BC Guides and Outfitters are suing this current government.

First I've heard of it. I wouldn't count on it, they canceled the hunt based solely on political/social pressure (78% of respondents were in favor of ending the hunt entirely, the original plan was a trophy ban and ban on hunting the great bear rainforest, but public consultation drove them to a full ban) and reopening it likely wouldn't end any lawsuits, because those lawsuits are likely trying to recover lost revenue from the last few years.
Simply put I see no reason for the NDP to reopen the hunt, there's nothing to gain from it, most hunters think they're communists and would stay home over voting for them.
