Marstar a couple pages ago said 2 more batches of 16" models first then 11". So I'm guessing.....not yet.
I would assume all 16 orders are made ahead of 11s? Meaning they should only start ship 11 till they finish all 16 orders?

This is correct
We SHOULD have the 2nd pallet of 16s tomorrow!
DLASK is still crazy busy with these, so they might not allow pickups up this week after all. We are just waiting for the green light from them.

What says I have one or the other, and not neither or both? Another CGNer asked and I offered as much of an unbiased and objective take as I could based on my experience of both so far. Nothing I've said is untrue or not worth considering for those sitting on the fence. For the record, the Bren is a great rifle, I just don't think it's the best of these two options if price isn't your primary concern, and that shouldn't be a shocker or offensive to anyone.
In the end a guy needs to shoot / handle both.

Combat proven quite frankly means very little as long as you're buying from quality manufacturer that designs for LE/Mil Contracts.
Many platforms are overlooked just because they are too expensive or can't be produced in the qty's req, or 1 of a great many other innocuous reasons.
I would say the main points the Bren loses to the APC are in the following:
-non-folding CH
-ambi bolt catch/release is difficult to use with your index finger without flirting with the trigger, but at least the ping pong paddle like a standard AR is still every-bit as good as it has been on other platforms for RH shooters...
-no choice of pistol grips
-fit and finish of components isn't as nice on the Bren
-the action isn't as slick and smooth on the Bren either.
The APC might be heavier than the brand but I feel like it's more of a perception based thing than anything due to the fact that most of them in the past have come with extremely lightweight stocks while not paying much attention to the front heaviness. The more recent versions that have had significant lightning cuts to the handguard are way better than earlier versions and benefit greatly from throwing an ACR stock on them to get the right balance.
I'm not sure that the original 11 inch barrel is much value to most folks, as I understand it is rather difficult to swap the gas system back and forth requiring a hydraulic press and other specialized tools, and most folks likely aren't to interested in turning there non-restricted back into restricted, although I can understand that may change in the future for some folks.
I will bring some extra food, let us bring some good stuff to Dlask, and pick the rifle before the end of this week lol
Quick update before the weekend
Barrel production is on schedule and may be arriving at Dlask as early as next week, PLEASE DO NOT CALL THEM.
