Affordable LAR-15 mag extensions?

Entering the LAR-15 mag world later than most I bet.

Does GS Design still make their mag extensions?

Any other printed or injection molded mag extensions?

The machined aluminum ones look awesome but are too expensive for me.

What options are still being made?

Some guys use a filler in the mag pouches to keep LAR mags accessable. Or if using for competition just get a magnet.

if you check my posts i've got a gun for sale on the ee that shows the ranger plates on a lar mag. they work well - not too heavy, don't make the mag too long so shooting prone is fine, rubber so make a good base for bench rest shooting. easy to grab, can colour-code for different calibers. for racing they work well with the kydex style pouches; with a loose fabric pouch they might still sink depending on the depth of the pouch.

Gear Dynamics low cut kydex pouches work perfectly for short lar mags with ranger plates. Every coupled/baseplate option is ghetto trash. I've done enough 3 gun to see every awkward dog f***in a football mag flip mag change, mag bases sheering off and sh**ing rounds every where, dirt getting into the bottom mag and causing stoppages. Just don't man.
