Calling on HG-105 owners

The sale price on TI has definitely intrigued me. I’m wondering for anyone who has owned and ran this shotgun how it is, and if anyone has had luck shooting target loads after the break in period .
 
I owned one this winter. Sold it 2 hours after receiving.... This thing look really good! But handling is terrible being a bullpup. All the weight is behind the trigger. It was my first bullpup ever but I really did not like how it handle compared to my 14'' 870 with Magpul furniture. My 2 cents

Hmmm, I prefer the weight at the rear so thats interesting.
 
Bullpups take some getting used to is all. Having said that, I'm not aware of any magazine (stanag type) fed shotgun that reliably feeds shells. I think it has more to do with the varying shell lengths than the guns themselves, but either way, they'll jam up on you.

There is a reason all police and military shotguns, whether pump or semi, are tube fed magazines. They work.
 
I've owned one for a couple years now, and probably put a little over 100 rounds through it. It really does need some heavy rounds through it for the first couple dozen shots, or at least mine did; it is definitely picky on ammo. Disassembly and cleaning is not too bad. I found the foregrip to have a little bit of play to it, even when the nut on the front is dialed on tight. Overall, just a fun range toy for me; the reliability just isn't there for me to want to take it hunting.

Forgot to mention in my previous post that the "sights" the shotgun comes with are total garbage, don't even bother wasting your time trying to sight the shotgun in with them. Just put on a red dot or some proper flip up irons.
 
I recently took this to the range for the first time with a family member. It was fun to handle and shoot. Had 1 shell fail to eject properly out of 20 rounds and shot both buck and target in equal amounts.
