BBC had done a fantastic job of milling an optics cut on my M&P 4.25” 9mm custom for a new Vortex CCQ and maintained my trijicon night sights to co-witness. Can’t say enough good things about the experience and the end product. Midnight bronze cera coat looks amazing with the black frame. I’ll be sending in my G48 for the Holosun Carry optic cut shortly

The SP-01 has a very narrow slide width which tapers off quickly, so there isn't enough horizontal space to accommodate the RMR footprint for direct milling, but can mill for the Trijicon RMR Plate system. The current footprints we can mill the SP-01 for are listed below:

Leupold DeltaPoint Pro
Shield RMS / RMSc
Holosun 407K / 507K / EPS / EPS Carry
FTP Alpha 3
Vortex Venom / Viper / Defender CCW
Trijicon 1911 RMR Plate

Glad you like your M&P setup. The Defender CCW looks really good on the M&P from an esthetic view point and it's practical as well. We appreciate the feedback!

Yes, we've done quite a few Shadow 2 OR slide fittings to CZ S2 frames. This would be a gunsmithing service not milling so there wouldn't be a discount for this service. So no chance of getting a holosun 509t cut on a Shadow SP01 unless I go the trigicon RMR plate then add the RMR adaptor the 509t comes with.... Love the Shadow 1 but optics choices are pretty dismal for them.

Yes, that's correct. There just isn't enough flat surface area at the top of the slide to mill the rail style footprint without cutting into the internal firing pin channel inside the slide which would render it not safe to shoot. So alternative would be the Trijicon 1911 RMR adapter plate, with the RMR to 509T plate on top of that in order to mount the 509T. We wouldn't recommend that route, it's overly expensive, and it adding a lot of weight on top of the slide. Wish we had a better solution for you but, options for the SP-01 are limited to the narrower optics.

Do you have any completed projects for the SP-01 with possible optics options? I'd like to see. My SP-01 is getting a bit boring now ��
