How to clean SAA Barrel?

I guess short of removing the cylinder the barrel has to be cleaned from the muzzle end?

How do you remove the cylinder?

I don't own a Ruger, but all the SAA's I've got work this way:

Note where the shaft that runs through the cylinder comes through the frame on the muzzle side of the cylinder. There, you'll find either a spring-loaded pin or a threaded equivalent that runs at right angle to the shaft and holds it in place by resting in a groove in the shaft.

Pull the pin back (if spring loaded - back out with turnscrew, if threaded) until it disengages with the shaft and the cylinder shaft can be pulled out towards the muzzle. The cylinder will be free to remove from the opposite side from the loading gate.
