has or does anyone use one? i really like the look and concept ect of them but at this point in my gun buying i want to buy things that im going to take out and use alot. so i turn to the more knowledgeable people here for some opinions

The heel magazine release is not the fastest and after 150 quick rounds the trigger guard will burn the #### out of your finger. Other than that the pistol is a tack driver and 100% reliable.

how many rounds is a usual idpa round before the gun would get some cool down time?

dont mind heel release being slower, be shooting more for fun and against myself than to "win"

doesnt seem like that would create much of an issue with heating the gun up to much then

Except that the mags are 8 rounds, as opposed to the standard 10. 2 mags changes as opposed to 3 will nuke your time.

The PSP is an exceptional pistol for ATC/safe carry. For competing, it has its limitations. It is not unheard of to use P7 for competing, but usually by diehard CCW types that relish this type of training/shooting.

dont mind my time being slower, i doubt ill be doing very well anyways to start lol

still got some other pistols im considering, but this can stay on the list cause it is still useful

I was going to make a joke that you have too many guns when you need to find a game to play to justify your next purchase, but then I realize that the GF might read this and make fun of me

So, if it doesn't quite work for IPDA, you could always get it to shoot the service pistol match in PPC...
