Crispi boots

I have a pair of them. Took them on a 11 day goat hunt last year and probably have 400 hiking km's on them now and lots more gravel road km's on them. They look and feel brand new. They didn't need a break in and fit wonderfully out of the box. They run a little wide compared to Danners I find.

The pair I have are Summit GTX's that I use for work boots

But I want to buy a second pair of boots so I don't have to wear the same pair day after day. I'm looking into these

Probably 9.5 if I had to guess.

Lots of people say the size runs true. I feel in length they do but feel wider then my Danners although I'm not sure what wide they are. I believe they have all been a wide of "D"

I just check and my Crispi's are a "D" and even they feel wide. I'm pretty sure my Danners were too

No problem. I've worn a size 10.5 since high school (20 years now) but with the Crispi's went with 11's so I could wear bigger socks in winter as they are not insulated. The next pair I buy will be 10.5's as the 11's feel wide even with the bigger socks on.

If you can, use the Euro size as the reference size especially for euro made boots. Scarpa, Asolo, Lowa etc (probably Crispi too) all start with the Euro size lasts and then convert them to US or UK sizing.
We (my store) carry the brands above plus Arc'teryx, Black Diamond, Altra, Hoka and some other smaller brands. There is no consistency in sizing between brands and in a lot of cases even between models in the same brand.
We also have equipment to modify/stretch most footwear if you have fit issues if you are in store but that doesn't help unless you are in Fernie.
If you have questions about boots in general put them up here or PM me and I'll try to help.

i think i will try the lapponia as well and they have then in 14 ...

Ive owned many boots cuz Im old and have been involved in hunting for a long time. Ive never hunted for sheep or goats. I was fortunate to mention to a shooting buddy that my feet hurt after hunting for a few hours. I mentioned I was gonna buy a good pair of boots. He asked me what size I wore and replied size ten. Next day there was a box dropped at my front door. A pair of Crispi size 10 Guides. Without a doubt they are the best boot this old birds ever strapped on. Great comfort and support. No break in for me but still has great support. I will be purchasing models in different configurations. It will be money well spent. I have wide feet and these are awesome boots. They now have two seasons thru everything and are in great condition.

Did somebody say these fit wide? I spend my days looking for wide footwear. Are they as wide fitting as Keens?

No experience with Keens, but I’d say Crispis have a fairly wide toebox compared to other boots I’ve owned/own. (Hanwag, Zamberlan, Techniqa, and a few others.) At least in the Nevada model. That’s one of the things I really like about them.

I always find most hiking boots too narrow in the toes, maybe it’s time to try a pair of Crispi’s like Medvedqc I’m a size 14!

And give Keens a try, you are unlikely to be sorry. With me, it's just that I'd like a little variety in my boot life once in a while. It's Keens everywhere here, I'm up to my knees in them lol.

I’ve had a few pairs of keen footwear’s over the years and never found them confortable… but never hiking boots!
