Cooey model 600 trigger short

So curious, I've got a model 600 cooey and the trigger blade is awful, it's so short and my finger doesn't even fully fit into the blade. Is there anyone who has or makes an aftermarket blade?

You have to be kidding right ? I don't think anyone makes aftermarket triggers for them . maybe a Ruger 10-22 but a Cooey model 600 I doubt it. I don't have big hands and have never thought that the trigger is too small on one of those rifles . you only have to make contact with the pad of you index finger to shoot a firearm . unless it's got a terrible trigger .
 
Yep, that's a shorty . . . Do you have any LGS that might have a trigger-shoe that would fit. Some shotguns have them for skeet-clays, etc I've read. Our local B-assPro doesn't have much selection of 'parts for firearms. Maybre a piece of vinyl tube to 'extend' the T ?

I do have the option to buy a direct part replacement from Dr Cooey in BC or I could fabricate my own. I have some jeweler fret saws and diamond files that I could probably make my own. Just not sure I want to take that task on. It would be nice to have a proper trigger blade though. I had a feeling that there was something off with this trigger. I appreciate you verifying it, so thank you good sir. Unfortunately my LGS won't have anything for this cooey.
 
Try some local gun shows and the EE. There are lots of parts out there. Just bring a photo with measurements or the actual trigger to the show. Triggers all look the same when you don’t have yours in front of you to compare. Good luck.
