I'm looking to purchase a replacement magazine for a Parker-Hale 7mm Mag rifle. Does anyone know where I can find one? Thanks.

Not certain they have been made for past 30 or 40 years? I had similar in 30-06 - and currently have three for 308 Win. I think the exterior are all the same size (?) - appears that the folds in the side walls are different - at least 30-06 to 308 Win. A pretty "mickey mouse" attachment / "latch" scheme - they fall out easily when firing, I found - most likely from wear on the magazine "nubs" - mostly because of my experience with them is why I prefer hinged floor plates these days - nothing to go missing. I was able to swap a 30-06 magazine for a 308 Win magazine, here on CGN, but have not seen ads for them for sale in stores or on Internet retail sellers. If you try to dismantle your rifle, there is a third action screw - have to remove the latch from trigger guard and its hinge pin and spring - that Allan head screw is up inside the slot that the latch lives in. A weird-to-us thread on that - I think is #5 BA or # 3 BA - do not mess up that thread!

They're pretty rare... I know of one in the Edmonton area, a guy with an assortment of parts & accessories who I see at the gun shows. He wants a small fortune for the thing, and his price keeps going up every couple years. I would have thought if I waited him out I'd eventually get it for more of a deal because he'd just want to move the thing; but apparently not, seems like he wants to take that mag to his grave.

The 7mm Mag/.300 WinMag magazines are made differently to the other standard Parker Hale "Clip" model Safari magazines. The Magnum caliber magazines are single stack with a flat follower, whereas the standard caliber magazines are staggered with a lobed follower. The former are indeed the rarest and likely only found at typical local gunshows if anything.

Another option would be to consider changing the bottom metal to a hinged plate magazine to varying degrees of success (apparently not all Santa Barbara actions have the correct scalloped bottoms to hold rounds).
