M10X 2023 Version

If the charging handle is fully twisted into place it will not come lose. If the charging handle is coming not properly clicked in then it will come lose.

Things have changed and I believe this upgraded rifle would be great for Canada in both the restricted and non-restricted category.

Hopefully, you are correct. Are you involved in distributing or dealing this line of rifles?

Not really. Through another friend I briefly got to know the owner of M+M. We spoke on the phone about this rifle, the upgrades and the Canadian market. I'm just sharing what I know and trying to give you a clear picture about the rifle. Neither funds nor free rifle has been provided! I always liked the idea of this rifle, and now seeing it finally be successful and properly working I'm just trying to spread the "good" news. A lot has changed since Gen 1 years ago and they deserve to be hold to better standards now. They learned their lessons as well in terms on how to make a decent rifle.

I would not say zero or close to zero improvements. From what I read (and understand) a lot is due to the fact that the Canadian market has a wide variety of cheap, inconsistent Chinese ammo. Which they apparently did not have to test their rifles with. And the first batches also had problems with their gas ports/ sizes of it.

I really hope they were able to improve that. At least the rifle I played with seemed fine and accurate.

That actually was debunked by a fellow Canadian who had issue with all kind of ammo. Posted on gunnutz.

Now they are starting again with that lie and how can you say "from what I read and understand". It is on youtube. How can you have missed it?

Her it is:

Well, IF it could be confirmed that they made the changes I suggested to them based on my experience - SIGNIFICANTLY tighter tolerances between the inner and outer parts of the upper receiver, ensure barrels are installed straight, heavier hammer spring, and lighter firing-pin spring - and if I hadn't already bought a Bren2 I'd be willing to consider the M10X again. I actually did like it.

They addressed that issue with better springs, tolerances and gas port drilling. So why would you quote a video that is over 1 year old with a rifle that is now not up-to-date anymore?

I think your input was considered when they were working on the newest version of the M10X. Springs, tolerances and such have been adjusted and made better.

I was referring to your statement. There are also several other videos on youtube where they sent the tester several rifles (in the US) and none worked properly.

That was 2 years ago. And now a new and improved version comes out, glad to hear that and good luck to you.

We gotta have hope. And a desire to see these rifles improve and become a good NR alternative for our market...

Is the Woodland model that some Canadian dealers have the 2023/gen 3/plus? The main guy seemed to suggest that was the case (but with a unique paint job) in a recent youtube interview but I can't find a for sure yes or no answer.

The 2023 version did not get released yet (as of August). But apparently it will be on the market shortly. It will include all the latest springs/ correct gas holes to ensure smooth and proper cycling.

It is welcome news, for sure unless you have a gen1-3 to flog.... :(

Hopefully the Turd Reich will be too busy trying to solve the long list of actual problems currently on Canadians minds and will not continue to waste more time and resources "investing" in do nothing to fix the gang problem initiatives.

Pandering to the uneducated emotional voters using fear and the illusion of a solution is a go to move these days for certain "folk", but it looks like they will be using climate to try and deflect from the failures of the last 8 years and possibly give guns a time out.... there is also new strain get your booster covid fear to push going in to the fall, I get the feeling people are starting to wake up to the fact that people using fear to push a narrative should not be trusted.... that said, there's no denying the results that are predictably generated by exploiting fear.

Let's hope they give us gun owners a break!
