dangerous ground..under that theory a sxs or an o/u would be a handgun..either w/ a selector or double triggers... maybe i'm wrong...
Hard to say. Problem is we've never really had a 'good' definition of a handgun.
personally, i'd define a handgun as a device that is designed to be shot and operated with one hand. Which means that once loaded, you should be able to arm, aim and fire all of it's loaded ammo one handed.
Obviously a revolver would qualify - you keep shooting till you're out. And so would a semi auto that's able to be fired one handed. But the shotguns require two hands to operate. Even if you could aim them accurately (questionable) you couldn't discharge all their ammo without using two hands, and they're obviously designed for two handed operation.
But that's just me - there's no LAW defining that.

Most people use two hands to chamber/#### a single action semi auto pistol as well and then fire with one or two hands.
I guess you missed that movie with "The Rock" where he strolls into battle with two pump action shotguns.....one in each hand firing and twirling them around to use his armpits to hold the pump as he racks another shell!!
What's with this 26 1/4" stuff?
660 millimeter = 25.984 inch
Yeah - try firing it one handed accurately
lol since when does accuracy and legislation go hand in hand?
The point is it would be nice to get an actual definition of handgun as something that was supposed to be fired and used one handed. That'd solve a lot of problems for us.

We are looking into it.Hey CanAm, any chance you'll be bringing in 20" rifled barrels for these Grizzly's? I'd love to have one with rifle sights on it for my Grizzly...
Cheers
Jay
We are looking into it.
Why a bullpup shotgun? I say it will be too hard to aim.
