Most people use two hands to chamber/#### a single action semi auto pistol as well and then fire with one or two hands.
I'd say anything that has a forend for support with the weak hand is not a "handgun"...that includes hunting "handguns" like contenders etc....

All I was trying to say is that I'm pretty sure someone came up with the 26 1/4" overall length limit for non restricted as a way of drawing a line between something that is less/more concealable.

We all know that these regulations are moot, because if someone has criminal intent they will likely play by their own rules.

I guess you missed that movie with "The Rock" where he strolls into battle with two pump action shotguns.....one in each hand firing and twirling them around to use his armpits to hold the pump as he racks another shell!!

it's clearly designed for 2 hands. Unless you make it so short and pistol gripped that it's actually possible to aim and fire it one handed, and then wouldn't it actually BE a pistol?

Chamber perhaps - but as i said, 'once loaded.. is designed to be operated one handed until ammo is spent'.

You COULD use two hands. You can also fire a rifle one handed. But the handgun is designed to be operated one handed till all ammo is expended, a rifle is not.

It's conceivable he's not quite using the guns within their design parameters :D And i'd like to see how he did on a real target with real loads for accuracy. :D

Are you kidding - best way to get a judge to decide it wasn't a hand gun is make him shoot one. After he got out of the hospital, i'm sure he'd see the light :)

The point is it would be nice to get an actual definition of handgun as something that was supposed to be fired and used one handed. That'd solve a lot of problems for us.

It really does seem simple doesn't it? This single statement makes so much sense, except to those who write the laws.
 
Hey CanAm, any chance you'll be bringing in 20" rifled barrels for these Grizzly's? I'd love to have one with rifle sights on it for my Grizzly...

Good lord - you might as well just poke a hole in your right ear drum before loading that sucker. Most hearing protection (even the $400 stuff) is only good at reducing sound levels by 22dB - having the action of a large caliber firearm right under your ear can't be healthy. The bullpup design is probably bad enough to your hearing with a 5.56 caliber, but a 12 gauge?!

Apart from the monstrous carry handle, it looks cool though. :)
