Appreciate if someone here could confirm correct torque spec for the two action screws on Savage 220 slug gun [synthetic stock]. Web search failed to reveal any concrete info.

I seldom use the slug gun since ammo is generally scarce and quite expensive too. Last time I had shot it was pre-Covid year. Recently took that out to the range to validate zero and found the group opened up.

Check revealed loose action screws. Hand tightened just enough (didn't have access to a torque driver) - rear (i.e. middle screw) first and then front. Group shrank but POI shifted which is a non-issue. Ran out of ammo, therefore, was unable to validate further.

Nonetheless, it would certainly help knowing actual torque specs for that firearm ....

The conventional wisdom is front screw quite tight first, then rear screw finger tight, finally mid screw snug rather than tight. However, your three tight obviously works.

Appreciated the insight.

The Savage slug gun has basically three screws. The third (rearmost) screw simply secures the far end of the trigger guard.

The two action screws (front and middle) had backed out to some degree and I just snugged those up lightly - then hand tightened the rear first (which is actually the middle screw), and subsequently, the front a slightly bit tighter.

I had hoped there might be some specs available for the firearm dressed in synthetic stock (not accustock) so that I could just blue loctite those screws.

Blue Loctite on snugged up screws is just fine... that's what many have done successfully for at least 50 years ...
