Boyd's At-One for the Savage Mk II

Those stocks feel like you're trying to hold a 2x4. Try different ammo if you want improved accuracy in it. I have a left handed savage mark 2 sporter barrel, eley in the bright green box printed best groups, sk standard plus was a close 2nd. If you want truly exceptional accuracy, you need a high end rifle and shoot only premium ammo.

A stock isn't going to fundamentally change what a barrelled action is capable of.

It probably will if you're dealing with the plastic stock that comes on the standard models. Between the rubbery movement of the stock and the fact that you can't really secure the action well in it, I'd say a stock can change what a barreled action is capable of.

Whether the AT one is ideal I couldn't say, I have no experience with them. I do have three different Boyd's stocks on rifles though, and they are a solid product in my opinion.

Check out the 100 yard challenge couple guys on there doing very well with savage mk2. Not necessarily in the at 1 stock but im sure it's still gonna be a good shooter.
