Single shot Husqvarna 30-30?

Made in .32-20, .45-70 as well. Action is akin to a M71 Mauser. Winchester barrels. Nice vintage rifles.

They’re well made and lots of fun to handload for. Doesn’t have the same restrictions on bullet shape and COAL as levers. Throw an aperture sight on it and you’ve got a fun little rifle there.

Had one for a while, shot well, novelty wore off and took it to the smith for consignment, he bought it from me lol.

I have one that started life as a 32-20. Someone hogged it out to .360 x 2.25 Express. Damned close to 38-55. Gerald Smith has completed that process for me and restamped the barrel accordingly. She'll be throwing lead bullets with mild loads one of these days. Thinking black powder just for larfs...

They are pretty neat little rifles, mine had a great trigger, I did replace the front sight with a taller Marble to get it aligned with the 60/120 flip sight or whatever it was. Thing had a great bore too, miss it a little, but tastes change, it shot well, no tack driver for sure, but nice stuff quality wise for 1920's era rifles. Extractor design was a little lacking, not really secured to the bolt, and will fall out anytime you take the bolt out.
