never voted liberal in my 50+ years of life so lets not go there.they have no prob taking our money for the tags in that area .hell they even have no probs giving us mooose tags for that area.but after spending over a grand for a weeks hunt you would think they could at least forewarn us:eek:

Sorry, I'm not referring to you in particular, but the vast majority of Morontarians. I guess it's no better hear in Socialist Quebec (probably worse). Haven't heard of any signs going up on the roads here though...hope I never will either!

They did, 13 years ago and it was called lands for life. The locals in the north fought it (and some southerners who saw it for what it was) and are still fighting it. It has been a big deal here for a long time.

It won Harris some votes in the south so there was really no chance to get it stopped.

I havent seen one of those signs around here and I dont care if I do. The mnr havent got the cojones or the manpower to try and enforce it anyways.

I have no issues with them closing roads to vehicles but it should dam well be closed to everyone including the natives. The MNR should do like they do in the west and have the lumber companies destroy the road if they don't want people travelling on it after the lumber companies are done. Then there would be this issue.

In some cases they take out a bridge or dig a ditch but the roads are not destroyed as they could become a valuable asset in case of forest fires.
