Hey Just wondering if anyone has tried the new inline bullet feeder kit from Lee?

I have mine on the way. Gonna try and put it on my loadmaster

Thanks

Hmmm .... interesting. The Lee inline feeder is about $88 cad. I was considering the DAA Mini bullet feeder, which is pretty similar, except the price for that one is $160 usd ($216 cad)

I think I'll get one of these Lee bullet feeders. It'd be great on my 38 Special setup for the Dillon 550.

I'd like to get one for my 9mm setup but then I'd have to delete the crimp die. :(

Thats what I will be doing. Have to get rid of the crimp die. I don' t think its that imperative for pistol calibers. But thats my opinion

I know it does help with getting the bell out of the case. But i haven't had a problem in the past without crimping. I guess we will see hehe.

I bought the 35 cal die for it, was gonna try to adapt the Open Bullet Feeder project to it but haven't got around to it. Edit: I may adapt a 3/8" pipe or plastic tube to it in the meantime just to try it out.

To the couple guys saying they are gonna use it in a Loadmaster, what station are you putting the die in? I am a fan of Lee but I sold my Loadmaster as soon as I could afford a Six Pack Pro because effectively having 4 stations is doable (deprime/size, powder, seating, crimp) but limiting.

DAA has a die that seats and crimps. Lee dies can also seat and crimp but I have not found that to be fantastic. I think the die would need to be set up for only a light crimp for it to work properly.

Can anyone confirm the Lee inline bullet feeder includes the multi-tube magazine? There is a listing for the magazine itself but is that just for having multiple magazines?

I had a chance to setup the feeder today and man o man. SUPER SIMPLE to setup. Works great. Makes loading a whole lot faster now. Everything fits nice as well. I will have to take a picture and show you guys it setup on my loadmaster

The DAA seat/crimp die is made by LEE

Of course it is. Any idea of a part number for 9mm? I wonder if it is any different than a normal Lee seater die?

I checked the DAA website and the Lee instructions for their seater die and the instructions are essentially the same. I think the DAA is simply a branded Lee seater die with no real differences.

I'm gonna start with the 38 Special setup and see how that works, then consider adding a 9mm bullet feeder to my collection.

Got my Lee Inline Bullet Feeder today. Was pretty easy to set up and get working. The action is super simple and seems to work quite well. I got the entire press set up and ran through 20-30 rounds very easily. Quite impressed with this bullet feeder, I will for sure be buying more for other calibers.
