I'd like to add an extension to an 1187 SPS (won't be used for hunting...). A +2 would bring it out close to the muzzle, which is what I was wanting...but puts me over 5 rounds (stock tube is 4). What would I need to do to permanently block it? JB weld a chunk of rod or a bolt to the inside face of the end of the tube?

Cheers

The "best" way to do it is to use a hollow tube that is thin walled and fits tightly inside the magazine tube. The hollow tube will block the follower but allow the spring to pass through. By doing this, you keep the follower spring tension the most consistent throughout its stroke. Then use a rivet through the walls to secure the inner tube to the outer tube.

Was thinking something similar, ya. Should be able to 3d print something sized correctly easily enough.

Thanks guys!
