The date they had received the request was August 12 2019.

The firearm in question was a Lanchester SMG (prohib)

The Transfer Notification was signed by Chad Gunn.
Firearms Regulatory Support Services, ASU.

Forgive me, but I really don't know what this means?

Clearly you're a grandfathered individual who now possesses a Lanchester (congratulations), but I don't understand the delay, or the sudden turn of events. Can you clarify a bit?

I am the seller---I no longer own this Lanchester.
It has taken from Aug 12 2019 until Oct 25 2023 to get this transfer approved.

The new owner in Calgary has had the Lanchester for a long time.

We shouldn't ask potentially incriminating questions of this sort.....

He already incriminated himself, and the buyer for that matter...

Or nothing illegal has occurred and there's more to this story. I was expecting something like it already was approved but now it's been double approved or something else ridiculous caused by the CFP being incompetent.

The RCMP had the Lanchester in Ottawa and had Gunco do certain modifications that they required.
Once done they shipped it .

It was a sweetie!

Wow! Nice old piece. Good thing it was deactivated. Nancy Pelosi and the fat a$$ from Ryerson would claim that thing would blow up a tank.
