best budget-friendly LVPO with an illuminated reticle?

Victoptics (vector optics) S6. Best value for the money.

Edit: I see that the 1-8 Constantine is on sale. With my past positive expiriences wih vector, I think I will grab one and try it.

Had a burris RT-6 on my fx9 worked well, but went with red dot/magnifier. Currently have Firefield RapidStrike 1-6x24 ($238 @ amazon) on my derya and probably overkill but works great, but have only tested in at indoor range.

Let us know how the glass compares in low light!

That's awesome! Have to shorten the barrel at all to thread it? Love the bayonet too, well done. Below is my farm gun. Took the picture where I'm building my shooting range, but for now still sitting on a milkcrate using the quad as a bench! Got a 2" group with 20+ year old UMC FMJ ammo; I was happy considering. Removed the fixed sights rather permanently, and installed a QD insert in the rear stock. Surefire Scout 640 on the far side.

I appreciate the MR1 ####.

This is a great thread. I'm looking for an under $1000 LPVO for a .223 semi that I am in the process of purchasing. The suggestion for a 1-6 to get brighter glass is a good one. I don't ever anticipate shooting out past 200m.

Good read.

Anyone here with experience with the new PA slx 1-6 nova ? Glass appears good and the illumination is daylight bright apparently. It's a rare feat with cheap optics (and even with more expensive options).

SFP va FFP isn't much of an issue with 1-6 optics imo. You are either using it as a red dots or at max magnification. Cheap and good 1-10 don't match for now.

Interested in hearing feedback about this optic myself, I think it could work well on one or two of my guns
