WK180 556 Convert to another caliber

Hi All,

I have a gen1 of the WK180, purchased new as a 556

I would like to convert to 762x39, what parts do I need to replace? Would it be the barrel and the firing pin for the upper?

I don't know if the mag well on the lower would even accept 762x39 AR mags, I dont have any mags to test.

Why not just buy a 7.62x39mm Wk180? They make those too.

Yep, Tenda has the WK180 in 7.62x39 for $950, buy that and dump yours for $750.

WK are not using AR mags for the 7.62x39, only AK mags, so 5 rounds it is.

Better to buy a WK181 or a Type 81. There have been some issues with the WK180 in both calibers if you plan on shooting 10,000 rounds.

The type 81 SR is on sale right now at Tactical Imports for $999.
