Dumb question, is therw issue running pvs14 type nv with glasses?
I run a PVS14 over my non dominant eye. I can wear my prescription glasses for myopia but find it uncomfortable so mist if the time I go without glasses and set my diopter for my non corrected left eye.
Uncle G, you ever take your PVS14 on your adventures?![]()
Both are some of Infiray's largest scopes. I prefer the RH50 Pro because of the dual optical zoom capability but the HYH50W has the ability to be used as a clip-on. So ultimately rather than saying "what's better" in a vacuum, you should evaluate how you will be using the scope. If you're looking for a standalone, the RH50 Pro is better but if you want the ability to be used as a clip-on also and can appreciate the 2k screen, the HYH50W has the advantage. The HYH50W also has a larger eyebox and easier-to-use controls (subjective opinion, but it has a dial wheel whereas the RH50 Pro has a bunch of buttons)What’s better, the RH50 Pro or HYH50W?
No because your corrective vision should theoretically get you close to 20/20 vision and you can set your diopter on your rear eyepiece for 0 setting. If however, you would like to use your NVGs without your eyeglasses, you can dial the diopter on the NVG eyepiece for whatever your prescription is. That's precisely what the adjustable diopter eyepieces are for. I would however suggest running your NVGs with your eyeglasses as you will likely want to flip your NVGs up at some point and may not want to fumble for your eyeglasses with uncorrected vision.Dumb question, is therw issue running pvs14 type nv with glasses?
No plans to do so especially since Photonis Echos and Echo+ exist. NVT6 tubes would be at about the same pricepoint as Echos and why bother with Chinese tubes at that point? Are you planning on importing any NVT6 tubes ?
I see you guys have some GP echo tubes in stock. Why is the gain so much higher than WP tubes?
Does it result in better low light performance ?
When using a thermal clip-on, does the quality of the day scope's lenses matter at all? Since when using a clip-on, you're only viewing a picture of a small screen merely inches away, would an expensive scope have any advantage? This is assuming that the cheap scope tracks ok.
Hi there, I’m very interested in getting into dual tube setup. Do you carry any tubes that’s not made-in-china? Looks like photonis echo tubes are china-made too (from their website)

I’m interested in RNVG (Echo 1600-2000 FOM) or RNVG (Echo+ 2000+ FOM) both are in-stock it appears. How long’s the lead time?
And I understand both are autogated right? And the housing is made in the states?
What's the rough cost to get into a single or dual bino setup. I don't know a lick of NV, all I know is I want a setup.
