There were a couple of guys I shoot with on occasion at the range that day and they signed the target. It is a 'home made' target and when I scanned it I put a penny on it as a reference. If you want I can e-mail you a copy of the scan.
Using the same rifle, I 'played golf' one day. I drilled holes through the golf balls, nailed them up at 185 yds and shot them with a .25-06.:DGreat sport! They just explode. Thats about as close to playing golf as I'm ever going to get.;)
 
Nice! How do you like the Falcon Menace optics? And what model did you get? I've been looking at them for a few weeks now.

It's a bit of a toss up. I like the feel of the grip area better on the McMillan but I prefer the forend on the B&C. It is a little wider. If the .308 hadn't already come with the McMillan stock it would have a B&C on it. The B&C was only $300. If I wanted a forend rail,adj. cheekpiece, etc I would probably order a McMillan A5.
Now if B&C were to come out with a Medalist for the long action Savage, my 110FP will be getting a new stock.
 
I ordered a couple of stocks from Kevin Rayhill at stockadegunstocks.com Well actually, The PD/Tactical has to come from Stockade and go to Brownells then to a dealer here that has an import permit already in place. Brownells carries the other stocks and it took only days to show up at Williams Arms. Stockade makes a very nice bolt handle as well BTW, I have a couple of them.

Show us a picture of the bolt handle, I'm not a big fan of the Savage bolt handle and would like a better one or even a larger one. I kinda like the larger aftermarket bolt some guys have on there Remington 700's

sharpshootersupply.com has some nice ones in LH and RH and they ship here as well.

for what its worth I have the same rifle in 243 and I am using leupold standard 2 piece bases and leupold high 30mm rings with a VXIII 6.5-20x50 LRT (30mm tube) and they fit really good
