Shipping ammo in Canada

In western Canada, the only option is Purolator, and they only handle dangerous goods at certain locations; not all will handle this so you have to check to see which depots will. This is what Purolator will tell you.
In my experience though, I have had several shipments come to the depot closest to me that is not supposed to handle dangerous goods...but this may be because the shipper (private and business) may not have identified the pkg as DG when shipping...so???

Are we back to that old Govt BS. Before they wanted to make private sales taxable. WE asked if they were taxable ,so would our homes as it was where it was sent from, same as a business. Stopped that crap pretty fast. Now we can buy and sell ammo but CP REGS say we can't ship a legal product same as the private shipping companies. So if we have to open an account , IS THIS ALSO TAXABLE AS A DEDUCTION FOR TAXES?
