Concentrate on what the instructor is saying and showing you. Go slow and shoot as accurately as you can.

The instructors I have met are fantastic and are there to teach, coach and help you. Soak it up.

I would like to thank you all for the advice. Impersonal as the internet is, there is a very real sense of community here at CGN. I will definitely enjoy myself, and I will be taking advantage of the mentoring program.

Also, I thought it was the section coordinator who was supposed to provide the coffee and doughnuts?
 
I was told if you don't renew and don't shoot after a while your BB is no good...

How long?

Probably another thing I have to do when I get.. redo my BB and do some shooting... So I wonder do I go east (in oddawa) or West to (Guelph or oxford) to torture an instructor......
 
We actually base it on the only thing we can realistically track...and that's membership status. So for past members that are not current:

  • Up to 2 years...you just have to reniew
  • At 3 years you would need an Instrcutor assesment (and the Instrcutor will decide if any additional training is required)
  • At 4 years you need to retake the BB (discounted rate of $50 Instructor Fee plus the annual membership)
  • At 5 years absense...is a full re-certifiction (no discounts on cost)

I haven't a clue when the last year I renewed was... and as I say it'll be June before I can even look at finding a course.... Oh well... By then I should have my new gun maybe even get it tuned and have developed a good load for it...

Thanks man just drop me an IM and I'll sort stuff out when I get back from the land down under... 10 days (3 moves to do ) and then 20 hours of flight....

Then 2 months to get this ready for deployment...
