9mm Ammunition

It's suggest checking on a box or two of alum case ammo if your Shadow runs 100% with it.
Brass cased ammo IMHO best esp since you can save your empty cases for reloading. IIRC going price for spent 9mm brass now is 10c a case basically.

9mm ammunition ?

I thought I had a thread going on this but can’t find it so……

I need your help with what 9mm ammunition for my two 9mm pistols
#1 Shadow 2 Blue
#2 Sig P 320 Full Size

What grain should I be shooting as I still have not made it to the range with these pistols .

Thank You !

^ agree - around $350/1000 rounds for new manufacture, FMJ rounds in the 124gr. range with new, reloadable brass casings.
Save your brass for reloading or selling it to a reloader for a few bucks.

Reloaded training ammo with plated bullets should be a bit cheaper if you can find it local to you.

They'll both run whatever. 115/124/147 are the most common. 115s feel a little snappier typically, 147s are a bit softer shooting. Some guns have feeding issues with 147s (They're all flat nose), but I doubt either of your guns will.

To be clear, "grain" is a measurement of weight like pound, ounce or gram.

We don't say, "What pound should you be shooting?" The question is, "What weight should you be shooting?"

To answer your original question, your handguns should shoot just about anything outside of maybe the exotic stuff.

Are you still looking to start reloading.
It’s a good add-on to your shooting hobby.
Will take a while to recover your investment. Could be an understatement equipment pending lol.
It’s work But it’s fun and you’re learning stuff.

Yes I am . There’s a bit to why I can’t start down that road right now ,one I need to make room to do it .
