Well, I was at the range tonite. I was going to zero my new NF 2.5-10 scope on my Classic Green. Well, the ####ing mount won't fit on the B&T rail. Fits great on my G36 though. Problem is , I can't take the G36 coyote hunting:mad:

So, what options do I have? I'd sooner switch rails than mounts, but my options may be limited since it's for a Swiss Arms

Help me! I wanna slay Will E Coyote :runaway:

What is the issue? The lugs on the bottom of the Larue too wide to fit the slots in the rail?

I have a Larue for the Acog and it was a tight fit. It turned out that the rough finish they use (whatever it is) was a bit thick, and did crush down.

No, It's not the lugs, it's the swivel locking things that lock the mount(LT-104) wich wont close on the B&T rail. Kinda like if the rail was too wide or the swiveling locking paddle things were not radiused ok. I'm thinking maybe the B&T mount isn't a picatinny but a weaver?

I'll take pictures later, and try to show you guys what's wrong. My digicam's batteries are dead right now.

See, this is how the paddle things should sit in the closed position

This is the maximum they'll close when sitting on my B&T rail. Wish I had SwissArms to take pictures, but it's at the range

You can adjust the larue mount, you tighten or loosen the nut on top of those 'paddle things' and it will make it looser or tighter fit .

Its adjustable for slightly diff picatinny specs. Thats why Larue rocks!

Oooooh! I'll have to give that a try next time I'm at the range!

Why is the rifle at the range?

Because I was heading out at the restaurant to have a drink after the range session, and since I had my AR15 and my P2000 as well with me, I tought I'd leave it at the range with my other restricted toys, for me to pick up next time I went, since I didn't feel like going home just to drop my rifles off before going to the restaurant.

Do your rifles have drinking problems or are you not allowed to stop between the range and storage area?

Using the 3/8 wrench ( one comes with the mount ) turn the eccentric clockwise will move the lever closer. You only need a little bit of turning to make the adjustment. I like to adjust the lever so I can feel tension starting about 45deg before closed.

Thats the great thing about Larue levers...you can adjust them.

Agreed
had to the the same on my AR, didn't have the same spacing on the upper than the handguard
