Anyone ever remove the bolt from a cooey mod 60 .22cal ? Tubular mag mechanism seems to be holding the bolt back. Any help is welcome.

Remove the metal from the wood... see the nut and bolt holding the tube against the action...? loosen and back it off...

...maybe you shouldn't be doing this? :p

i don't have one in front of me, but i think you need to hold the trigger back to remove the bolt on a cooey...

The tubular magazine on the Model 60/600 is attached to a cut in the bolt and held in place by the threaded post. Like Dennis said, this has to be removed or backed off before the tube can drop out of the bolt recess and the bolt removed.
When putting it back together, make sure that you don't put the threaded post in too far or tight against the tube as the magazine tube is designed to move back and forth with the actuation of the bolt.

I might add to this, that if the threaded post is slightly too loose, the action will cycle like butter, and the bolt will come unhooked from the magazine tube while cycling the bolt briskly. At least thats what mine does.
