Lets take their word on this for a sec and assume this actually is for public safety. They ban all mags over 5 so criminals can't walk into a store and buy mags then unpin them. How does the fact that gun owners have a bunch of these mags make any difference? You gonna start selling your now-prohibited magazines on the streets?
