Could someone measure the length of the metal piece which attaches the fore-end to the receiver? I have a Mk.3 which may have had a Mk.4 bracket installed at one point. So, length of a Mk.4 bracket. Thanks.

I must be missing something here. If you want to know how long the metal piece at the lower rear of a Mk. IV forearm is - it is 3 inches long. Be more specific if you are looking for something else.
