"VOODOO TACTICAL" drag bag

After ordering from Capt. Daves with an email telling him he had a winner on his hands, here's the reply I got....

Hi Peter,

Thanks for your note. I have actually taken phone orders from a couple Canadians this past week, and they shared with me the positive feedback we've received online.

We are happy to offer these drag bags and other Voodoo Tactical products at reasonable prices and to ship them to Canada.

I should warn you that we are running very low on the drag bags and are out of stock on Coyote Tan and ACU digital camo. We only have two or three each left in the remaining colors. Voodoo Tactical is also out of stock, but has more exepcted in this week and we should be back up to stock in a week or 10 days. So if we stop listing them, it simply means we are out of stock and people should check back a few days later or give us a call and we can put them on a backorde rlist. Feel free to post this information on the forums, if you think it is worth passing along.

Thank you again for the e-mail, and let me know if you or any of the other Canadian Gunnutz have any further questions.

I phoned Captain Daves at lunch today and ordered 2 OD sniper bags, ebay price, $167.90 for 2 plus $53.70 for shipping, $221.60 to my door. 5% bill in the mail next year for uncle Steven. Pretty much $120 per bag all said and done.

majors still have 44 black ones, quite a bit cheaper

Damn you CGNrs. Now have bag coming. Oh and two military equipment bags, and roll up shooters mat... Your fault, blaming you, you may hear from my better half, why was she not home to stop me.

poor you :) ask God to keep her out of home when the mailmen bring all these goodies :))))))

Had I know these were gonna sell I would have arranged a group buy, all of us could of saved a couple bucks :(

Well Goose, migth still be worth a go. Obviously these bags are priced right. With a few more dollars knocked off, you could probably attract a bunch more buyers.
I know I would like to get a couple more of the Tac rifle bags and another drag bag in OD later on.

PowerStroke, what is on its way to you? If its interesting maybe store it here, will try it out for you. I also have two more Cooeys on the way (more Cooeys, how are these different from the other Cooeys... yes, am ready for it, actually she is into it as well, I just dont like taking her to the range anymore cause she starting to shoot better than I am).

Had a buddy who picked up a number of garbage rifles. Every so often would take a garbage rifle to LGS, leave it there come home with something beautiful. Total number of rifles never changed, no one was the wiser. I only had my Mossberg Mariner when I met my wife, should have planned ahead.

Cheers

sorry for hijacking this thread!

MY coyote brown Voodoo drag bag showed up today.

Wow, I am very impressed with the quality and features of this bag.
The material is a thick cordura nylon, not the flemzy stuff that you see in alot of chinese knockoffs. There are 4 pouches on the outside. 2 for either bipod or scope, 1 for mags, and 1 large utility pouch for all the essentials. There is also a pouch inside the bag with a ammo belt to place loose rounds as well as other essentials.
Each of the pouches have extra large zippers which can be easily opened/closed even with gloves.
The 2 walls of the bag are padded with a high density foam. No worries about dinging up your rifle in this bag.
There are 3 types of carrying attachments. 1. basic carrying handles, 2. a shoulder strap, and 3. a back pack type harness. In backpack mode, I found it qiute comfortable and easy to walk with.
At 51", it is just long enough to fit my TRG 22 with the muzzle break on it. A TRG 42 in the similar setup might prove to be a tad too long.
Some have asked, is there enough room for 2 rifles. I would not recommend it.
Overall, I am quite happy with my purchase from Capt Dave's. As mentioned in this thread, the Voodoo drag bag is alot of bang for the buck.
Now I can't wait for the tac rifle case to show up. :D

that is one pretty rifle..... :runaway:

Do you have the idea that Orvis is going to sleep in his drag bag?

Only because at 73", I wouldn't fit.

There is one isssue I have with the bag.
The buckles used to tighten the tie-downs inside the bag do not hold tight.
Not a big deal if you are just using it to transport your rifle to the range, but if you're hauling it around while hoofing it, your rifle will come loose inside the bag.
An easy fix with some quality buckles.

Just Got mine in the mail today.... crap i should have bought a few more... the quality is outstanding... metal fasteners and buckels.. heavy duty stitxhing and nylon... Best deal purchase i have had in a long long time...

Cheers
