They must have something against the French, because I ordered mine yesterday and only paid 70.08$ shipped to rural Ontario.

They are shipping from California.... seems only logical that it would be a couple coins more to ship here.
Did you guys specify to have them ship it with USPS?

Yes, I think mine is the older version, this one is better and has more webbing and pouches. I may get another as I really like this for going to the range. It fits in my trunk, without dropping the seat.
I can get 2 regular rifles with scopes, but when I take heavy bbl target rifles, with big scopes 2 is a bit tight....... so I am thinking about a second bag for those days when I take 2 taget rifles to the range.
I just tried to order one in black from majorsurplus. But USPS doesn't appear as an option on the online order system, only UPS. So I phoned the 1-800 number and they tried to charge me $175.... her computer showed the price as $149.95, not $50. So now I have to call customer service on Monday morning and get them to process the order.

I orded it off the website, it was $76 shipped. In the comments section I wrote "please ship usps if possible". As you said they don't list that as an option for shipping so I'll see what happens. Worst case sceniaro I pay an extra $30 for tax and duty. I can live with that.

There was no USPS option for me either. Only UPS Standard, Priority and Express.
FYI, if you ship "Express" brokerage & tax is already included in the cost.
I shipped standard, my company has a brokerage account with them and I don't have to pay that ridiculous 15$ customs brokerage fee, just GST/PST...

I have 2, the drag bag in tan and a tactical type case in OD. The tactical case is an AR size bag, works good for my hunting rifle.
Yeah, I just purchased the tac rifle soft case for $54.00 from Capt Dave's too.
The prices are awesome for what you get.
The closest I can find here in Canada start at the $250 -$300 range.
I know most here are high quality brands like Eagle and can take the rigors and abuse of being drag through hell and back, but mine won't be seeing any abuse with the exception of tossing it into the back of the car.

i bought it 2 days ago, so imagine it'll take a couple weeks... for the people that already have them, will they hold a ruger 10/22 and a shot gun? is there a center divider inside?

There are no dividers(atleast not in mine or the one my buddy has). You can remove the foam from one side and use the slot for another firearm, like your shotgun. Here are some pics for a better look.
Full length shot. There is still about 6-8 inches of room in the nose(left side) for the barrel.
Closer look at the foam. The slot is kept closed by velcro during normal use
Here's a shotgun and 10/22 for comparison.
