Looks the same to me. Receiver OD is the same at the barrel too.

No worries, bud. Thanks very much for the intel. Still trying to be super-sure that rechambering mine to 38-55 was a reasonable thing to do. Reckon if it can handle 30-30, it can handle 38-55.

30-30 Maximum pressure (CIP) 46,000 psi (320 MPa) bullet .308 in (7.8 mm)
38-55 Maximum pressure (CIP) 35,000 psi (240 MPa) bullet .377 in (9.6 mm)

Although there's less psi, you're also missing .9mm (1/32") of barrel per side.
If my math is right...someone check it plz.

Interesting.

Left = 30-30 Receiver/barrel is slightly smaller than the 32-20

Right = 32=20

Barrel is 12-13mm longer on the 30-30.

Not since the early 1930's, but they pop up, Tradex brought a bunch in various chamberings, not many were pretty, where I got my 30-30 one.

I hope so, waiting for interesting pieces there, they got some nice rifles but all pretty common makes and chamberings. If someone was looking for decent used that's the spot, I just already got nice examples of basically everything they have already from Tradex.
Did pick up a nice BRNO ZKK 222 from them a while back I'm pretty tickled with...

Waited a while...found mine at an auction. The 32-20 was from a member, just needed some TLC.
