Wads from the States ?

It's not the bringing into Canada, rather taking them out of the States.

Are you refering to shotgun wads or Black Powder wads? I ordered BP wads 2 yrs ago and no problems. Not ITAR controlled.

I got some wads for my .36 and .44 black powder revolvers sent to me from Track of the Wolf. Not firearms parts so nothing to be concerned about.

I never knew Black Powder took wads. Wads for shotgun shells. With rifle reloading, primers, cases, bullets and powder all require export permits. There was a time when they had a loophole for powder, but it has been closed for awhile.

Black powder wads would be OK as no way to differentiate if they were for percussion or flintlock which are exempt from most silly rules. Shotgun wads I wouldn't think so.

I buy shotgun wads from lawry. The shipping can be pricey for 1 bag, but if you buy 3 or 4 bags its not bad.

In Ontario .......no you can't buy modern shotgun wads from the USA

Claybuster wads are what I use, and run $14-20 for a bag of 500, depending on gauge and load.
