browsing the web and seeing alot of nice looking pump action rifles in Australia. Is the Troy PAR the only one thats been imported into Canada.

Im thinking these will grow in popularity in canada in years ahead as bill c21 expands

Semi-auto has been formally defined in C-21 to cover MARS-type rifles. (technically before semi-auto was never defined except for the cartridge magazine regulations)

semi-automatic, in respect of a firearm, means that the firearm that is equipped with a mechanism that, following the discharge of a cartridge, automatically operates to complete any part of the reloading cycle necessary to prepare for the discharge of the next cartridge; (semi-automatique)

Extracting the fired casing would be completing "any part of the reloading cycle"

It would be great if Remington (now Ruger) started making the 7615 rifles again.

I may be mistaken but I believe Ruger only purchased the Marlin brand from Freedom group. They are producing beautiful rifles under the brand.

All new Remington rifles and shotguns are produced by a company that calls themselves RemArms and I do not believe they have anything to do with Ruger.

I'm so very disappointed with the contemplations. I get downright angry when confronted with such ridiculous actions as these...guys, the time has come to draw the line. We've been more than reasonable since they started this sh1t in '77...enough. Let us collectively refuse to play their stupid little non sensible game any longer.

Give us back our sporting rifle AR's, we're not the problem, neither are our AR's

We were compliant with magazine capacity...no more. full mags at the range ought to be allowed. 5 for hunting.

OIC and the government's ability to use it forever forbidden, they've abused their authorities that WE grant them!

Full rescind on bill c-21.

Do it not, and we're coming to Ottawa again, and we know your tricks. Bank accounts will be hidden or liquidated beforehand.

Porbably 90% on this forum signed up as guinea pigs for the government 2 years ago, the time hasn't come. I'd like to be optimistic but that's the truth.

Interesting.
I wonder if RemArms would be interested in making more of the 7615 rifles?

The fact that there's so much aftermarket support for the 870 platform makes this rifle appealing to me.

I’ve seen stuff like this which is interesting.

Looks to be only the trigger mechanism that is keeping the bolt back. The RCMP gun lab would find some reason to ban it, citing "easily interchangeable trigger mechanisms that can make it semi auto".

The current Renegade we have on the market seems more robust in terms of customization anyway. Besides, you'll probably end up paying the price of two Tavors to have this imported and sold in Canada.
