Best Phone App Ballastic Calculator

I'm using SBC on my iPhone. Have Chairgun Elite as well, but I like the simpler interface on SBC better.
It seems like neither app has all of my optics listed, so I need to run both.

Another option if you don't need a phone app specifically and you don't mind excel spreadsheets:

https://ballisticxlr.com/ballisticxlr-support/

This is probably the most comprehensive spreadsheet I've found and it's free. Heck, even the projectile info tab is worth the download and a real timesaver.

You fill in the dark green boxes on the first tab and then it auto-populates the spreadsheet.

I fill these in and then save them as a PDF on my phone and print out the dope table for my rifle case.

I use the Hornady 4DOF program and input the specifics hit calculate and then print, it's all there and it is very close to the Sig Sauer 2400ABS program and range finder that I use, you can enter all the data or make changes as you go, as soon as you turn on the range finder it links via blue tooth to your phone and updates the data.

I've been using GeoBalistics for quite a while now, and have been pleased with it.

It can also bluetooth sync to a variety of devices like Vortex Razor HD 4000 rangefinder, weatherflow wind meter.

Its free last time I checked but you need to pay to add more than one rifle.... Its well worth the low price to have multiple rifles and loads.

Android users can still get Strelok (and updated to Strelok) via the Samsung store or the Huawei store, so I use that, and the Applied Ballistics app with a Kestrel.

Love SBC. Don’t need anything else and the 3$ for premium is well worth it.
Have used it on the fly for some longer shots hunting and it is perfect.

Hornady 4DOF works great, I also like the group measurement feature. ( it’s extra )
Geo Ballisyis also good.

If you get your info right, they are all very close and have the ability to adjust things like BC to make them 100%. I have used all of them, it’s the only way to find out what works the easiest for you.

I personally like applied ballistics, I find their custom drag curves spot on. Though my ballistics calculator is with my Kestrel.

People seem to like Hornady 4DOF, and there's a few others out there as well that people are having success with. They all more or less do the same thing, and most of them run off the same background calculations and formulas to derive ballistic solutions.
