Beretta 1301T vs A300 Patrol

You got yours at a price no other retailer lists. You got yours from a retailer that does not list Beretta and does not have any stock to sell. You may have gotten yours at a deal of the year sort of price but nobody else is going to get that price. The suggestion we should all wait for that unobtanium price is naive at best.

The dealer in question does not have a single listing for any Beretta. I suspect they were looking to get rid of something they don't generally sell. He lucked out and got a price nobody else is going to get.

I got one at that price too.

I’ve also got a 1301 Tactical.

They seem roughly comparable, while the 1300 has more attention to detail.

Why the heck didn’t the 1301 come with mlok furniture like the 300?

I like my 1301 but I need something to beat up a bit in the bush.

The new generation of 1301 have similar handguard as the A300 patrol apparently.

The Comp model already uses the 3.5" receiver, just need the barrels stamped as such.

Now you’ve got me thinking. I’ve got an A400 Extreme which is basically a 1301 for ducks. Never even thought of attempting a barrel swap to see if it would work. The A400 barrels seem fairly easy to source compared to anything 1301. Hmmm…..

FYI, for those with 1301 Comp models, if your sling doesn't stay locked in the rear factory QD sling socket, it may require screwing out a little. Mine was countersunk a mm or two, but turned it out until it was proud of the stock a wee bit, and it works solidly now.

With the black 1301 Tactical only being $200 more than the A300 Ultima Patrol, I was thinking it was a no brainer to spend a little more to get the 1301. But with this new great review on the Patrol, I’m reconsidering.

The 1301 comes w crap plastics so you will spend $500+ to upgrade the furniture to something more like the OEM furniture on thee A300.

https://youtu.be/0Jj2TC3dYAU?si=TdJHWE63huDeHfnB this video illustrates the difference well. Personally I'd go the 1301 but I also have a 1301 comp and three a400 guns that use the blink system. That said I've enjoyed shooting the a300 outlanders that I've used. I haven't shot the new a300 patrol yet the major advantages of the patrol is it comes with mounting options and the Mobil chokes are much cheaper. The 1301 is faster softer and has a more advanced barrel

An informative one. I usually don't like the channel for they talk too much, but the comparison of internal designs between the A300 and A400/1301 actions was well done. The locking mech in A300 resembles a 12GA SKS, lol.

Thinking 1301 Comp or Comp Pro might be the best do-it-all among Beretta's gas-operated options.
