They had a Boxing Day sale and it was being sold for that price and it got sold out fast.
For some reason they had it on sale for 30% odd.
It was not used shotgun it was brand new.
damn missed out on this

You got yours at a price no other retailer lists. You got yours from a retailer that does not list Beretta and does not have any stock to sell. You may have gotten yours at a deal of the year sort of price but nobody else is going to get that price. The suggestion we should all wait for that unobtanium price is naive at best.
The dealer in question does not have a single listing for any Beretta. I suspect they were looking to get rid of something they don't generally sell. He lucked out and got a price nobody else is going to get.
I got one at that price too.
I’ve also got a 1301 Tactical.
They seem roughly comparable, while the 1300 has more attention to detail.
Why the heck didn’t the 1301 come with mlok furniture like the 300?
I like my 1301 but I need something to beat up a bit in the bush.
The new generation of 1301 have similar handguard as the A300 patrol apparently.
Apparently now is not the time to buy. Need to wait for Beretta to sort themselves out with respect to features and pricing of each gun.
My prediction is regardless of what model you choose, you'll end up swapping out a bunch of stuff anyway. Question is, how long do you want to put off the inevitable.
With shot show coming up it will be interesting to see if they release an updated 1301
They have a newish version with the updated handguard.
My hope is a 20ga unlikely but I can hope
Nah... a 3.5" magnum version would be better. What would that be now, 8 x 2-3/4"![]()
The Comp model already uses the 3.5" receiver, just need the barrels stamped as such.
With the black 1301 Tactical only being $200 more than the A300 Ultima Patrol, I was thinking it was a no brainer to spend a little more to get the 1301. But with this new great review on the Patrol, I’m reconsidering.

https://youtu.be/0Jj2TC3dYAU?si=TdJHWE63huDeHfnB this video illustrates the difference well. Personally I'd go the 1301 but I also have a 1301 comp and three a400 guns that use the blink system. That said I've enjoyed shooting the a300 outlanders that I've used. I haven't shot the new a300 patrol yet the major advantages of the patrol is it comes with mounting options and the Mobil chokes are much cheaper. The 1301 is faster softer and has a more advanced barrel
