Grip tape for Troy pump action rifle

Has anyone added extra grip to their Troy PAR forend?

When I pump the action with some pace I can slowly feel my hand slipping as the rounds go on.

I bought some Talon grip tape for it - its not bad but the grip could still be better.

Hockey tape seems like the obvious answer

better even still is skateboard tape. very aggressive, ive used it on magpul moe shotgun foreends with great success. the same thing would be anti slip tape strips for stairs.

That's just self adhesive sandpaper. Somewhere around 80-120gr

Use it on my pistols. Thinks I paid $8 for a full sheet which should last me for years
