We should maybe nuke the updates for now.
One of the locals who’s arguing against it I was told read this thread.
They formed an Eco Alliance. They claim they are stewards of the land type crap.
So they had a quad rally at this proposed area. To show they use the area. Posted pictures. And were jumped on for destroying the land (taring up ground) and then promptly took posts down. There are now 2 burned out cars and one burned out quad on this property. Its also a dumping ground for animal carcass's. Garbage dump. I believe that a co worker of mine dumped his wood scraps from his deck build on this site about 3 years ago. He is a gun guy and wants to shoot long range. But doesn't want it where it is proposed because it is 4KMs from his place as the crow flies. But hunts a cutline/target shoots right off the back of his property.
Double standard/hypocrite, anyone?
That is the type of mentality that is being dealt with in this neck of the woods. Once someone moves into this area, no one else should be allowed to move in. They feel that once they have their piece of heaven, no one else should be allowed to move in/build.
There is a Webster (local area) Facebook page. Right on the front page, it says "No outsiders allowed"
This would be awesome for me. Close to where I live
The court date did happen this past Wednesday. Apparently someone who lives by the proposed range has found this thread so I was asked to keep the updates to a minimum. The judge has 30 days to write and issue a report of his findings. What I heard I am trying to be optimistic about court date.
