Redfield Revenge -- By Leupold -- 3-9x42 Riflescope

From Leupold's website:

Leupold riflescopes are all designed, machined, and assembled in our Beaverton Oregon manufacturing facility. We do not have any other riflescope manufacturing facilities or offices anywhere in the world.

So how is the Revenge "by Leupold". In what sense? I see that Leupold and Stevens Company owns Redfield, is that what you are referring to?

Exactly! A few years back Leopold sold the redfield brand to Academy Sports.

If it was built by Leopold they will service/ warranty it. But I'd be concerned with who made it and who will warranty it here in Canada if not built by Leopold.

At the end of the day, it looks to be a good deal on a entry level scope...

Our Korth (Leupold rep), from the lower mainland has stated that Leupold (Korth), will warranty any Redfield Revenge Scope a person owns.

They were made in the Philippines, like Nikon or Crimson Trace Scopes, Philippines glass is very good quality.

I believe the fellow that set up these Redfield scopes to be made no longer works for Leupold.

Either way, buy with confidence. They normally retail for $325.00.

They are decent scopes for sure, webpic shows the Revolution which is a little confusing, the Revenge has taller windage/elevation turrets.
Good price.
