Semi-auto long distance shooter/hunting rifle

I am In the market for a NR semi-auto long distance shooter, for hunting and long range plinking. Anyone have any leads beside a BAR or CRUX? cant seem to find much out there. possible any 180 platform conversions? I was thinking along these lines of caliber: 277 Fury, 270WIN, 270WSM or 308.

Trying to remember if the Lockhart Raven was coming out in a 308.....?

Some was to be building a semi in 308, soon. Someone else should be able to comment.

FN-AR Competition. Light enough to hunt with. Accurate enough for long range shooting. 308.

Weren't those like 3-4 MOA rifles? I've never heard anyone praise the Famaes for their accuracy.

The Raven is an overpriced aesthetically appealing paperweight. I wouldn’t recommend it any configuration, let alone new calibres. The platform is plagued with issues and for the price these issues are unacceptable. I too would recommend looking into the Browning BAR or FN-AR as a reliable semi-auto hunting platform.

Love my T7, if I ever take a deer with it, it'll be under 100m. My SL8 is by far the most accurate semi that I own. But it's more of a plinking unit than anything.

Almost 4k... Jebus christ...

I paid $2200 for the 5.56 , so all I’ll need for the .308 is the mag attachment , bolt and a barrel.
Maybe another $1000???
