I agree 100% with cat...outstanding accuracy !! I'm lookin for the same in my new Tikka 6.5 PRC. Prelims are done..2nd round comin up.

Well...I did it. After this thread, I Put a call in to Peter @ Hirsch Precision...8uutttt that lucky so & so is at SHOT SHOW..LOL !!!! (( I am jealous as heck)) 8ut his staff looked after me quite well when I arrived.

The old man used to say to me...you only get 1 chance at leavin a first impression...make it right !

This tiny little pip-squeak of a chrony did just that !!...It's now fully charged...linked to my phone...and here I sit, waiting for my range day later this week.

Man alive...set up couldn't have 8een any easier ! I was a8le to charge it up fully while driving around to my other errands. US8-C cord included...8ut I already have one in my Rav for my Samsung. It was on 50% when I took it out of the 8ox for the first time. Roughly 1.5 - 2 hrs put it on hundo% !!
So far..sooo kool..lol

Excuse my 8's...can you guess which letter isn't working..lol
 
It looks like the unit has a firmware update. Mine just updated to 3.20.

I don’t see any app update. Even the Google Play store and Apple’s App Store show 1.0.2 as the latest app version. No update to 1.0.3 is shown.

If you have the Garmin bluetooth-paired to an iPhone or similar and that can see the Internet then the phone app will tell you there's a firmware upgrade available and offer to feed it to your Garmin.

I was on wifi when this happened; it's possible it will hold off when it's on cellular bandwidth.
 
More of a check and do any updates before hitting the range.

First time out mine noticed an update, and without thinking much I started it, right in the middle of a shot string, so it was a pain, and now the data was not together. I now check before the range trip for any updates so this doesn't happen again. Yea, you can opt to wait, but while at the range, with other things going on, and being first time, I made the mistake.

Last nite, I took my pocket knife and pried the B button off...messed with it..no change, went to bed...I accidently hit it this morning and VOILA !!! my b is back baby.....Buuuut...now im stuck with a "B" button that's all Fd UP and won't go into place...:( :(
 
I noticed on my phone, that my Garmin app (shotview) had an update notification...I got the pip-squeak out, turned in on and went to the app...got the update done. Same as yours now 6MT...3.20. Thanks for the heads up !

Mine just updated about 3 days ago to 3.19 just turned it on again and synced it now say's 3.20
 
Here’s a neat accessory for the Garmin. It’s a rubber cover. I chose the one with the sun shade. It fits like a glove. Kind of like cell phone covers. All the buttons work when covered by the soft pliable rubber/plastic material. The back is open for the radar, and so is the side for the power port.
