Scope ring height for a CZ 457?

Goggle this exactly as it is written and then get back to me: Burris Signature Rimfire .22 Rings with Pos-Align Inserts, High, 1" #420556

My only complaint with CZ is their high bolt lift, I have a 455 in 17 HMR and a 527 in a 223 and both need high rings to clean the bolt lift, they are accurate as heck but I needed to mount the scope higher than I like to clear the bolt, a 60 degree bolt lift would sure make them perfect

The 457 has a 60 degree bolt lift.

OK didn't know that good to see they changed that
I`ve got a 457 Varmint with a 50mm scope on it and get a perfect (to me) cheek weld with no modification or addition to the stock. The bolt clears the eye piece with lots of room to spare.
Fits me perfectly and functions and shoots like a dream, love it.

Have you seen MDT’s advice on scope ring height? It really depends on what your objective bell size is.

I have a CZ 457 MDT XRS with a Bushnell Match Pro ED 5-30 on top. It has a 56 mm objective so according to MDT, I should go with 1.25 inch high rings. I knew I was going to run the XRS enclosed forend though and didn’t want to risk the forend showing up in my FOV when I was on glass so I went with Vortex extra high PMR rings (1.45 inches).
