Any word on barrels? I picked up a slide last go around and found out the barrel also needs to be fitted to the slide.

Out of curiosity, what sort of interference problems are there with the barrel?

I sent mine to black box customs and they said the barrel is tight in the slide. While they could fit my original barrel to my new slide, it wouldn't work as well with my original slide.

This is also what I am thinking. There are custom CZ 75/85 fitted with longer slide. A hybrid indeed, with longer barrel/slide. My 22 conversion kit fits both my Shadow 1-Shadowline version, so as my 85C. I do not have a Shadow 2, so I cannot try dry-fitting S2 slide to either S1 or 85C. I know a few shooters down south was able to custom fit a Tactical Sport Upper on a 75/85 frame. The only problem is, where to get a TS Sport upper.

FWIW my barrel swaps easily from my original slide to the OR slide. I don't believe my gunsmith had to make any changes to accommodate that. Of course the OR slide had to be fitted to the frame.

interesting, from what I hear all CZ Shadow 2 are hand fit at the factory, so I imagine there is quite a bit of variation. I guess it just depends on the luck of the draw if parts will be interchangeable. Unfortunately in my case, its not ideal.
