Chunk Guns? Freedom Indiana

So she called me over today and just gave it to me. The lock is not holding, unsure of what is going on.

The barrel is 1.5in across the flats and 42in long, this thing is a beast.

There are target sights for it and a rail you could put a scope on. The sights are Walther. The rear is just a peep and the front a red ring around a hole.

Anyone know anything about these?

Ya, I have to get enough space to do it, hopefully in the next few days.

I will post pics of the sights too when I can.

Thing is a beast, no cabinet will hold it, ha ha.

Congrats, look forward to seeing pictures. 1.5" good size barrel. Interested to know the rate of twist etc. Walther do make a globe front sight similar to soule etc with replaceable insert aperture's, posts etc. as well aperture rear sights for small bore target rifles Sights for chunkin require a blade front sight and a open rear sight forward of the breach a certain distance. Both sights may be hooded. ABS a common material for making hoods.
