OK I agree $1.80 seems like a fair current price for factory 303 SP but to imply the only way folks can reload economically is because they are incredibly old and bought their stash in in the 80's is kind of off base. I am not that old and was able to pick up LR primers and powder for 5 cents/each and powder for $35-50/lb right before COVID 5 years ago. I saw the writing on the wall and as usual stocked up whenever a deal presented. Consequentially I can indefinitely reload twenty 303 rounds from $7-13 depending on cast or fmj projectiles and won't ever be a buyer for the factory stuff at $1.80/round or more. So yes if your new to shooting the current ammo prices suck but if you have been around for at least 5 years and now complain you didn't have the foresight to anticipate ammo futures might suck well that's on you not the old guys.
