Zenith Firearms ZF-56: Looks Promising!

If it's black, goes pew, rubs poly and libs the wrong way, it's going in the safe regardless.

Yes, I have a problem.

Dont know if anyone else noticed but the website actually lists $2500 USD as the retail. Which means well over $3000 here. Better be friggin amazing for that price.

Also, it is VERY clearly NOT an AR15 lower. It takes 10 seconds to see that... look at the buffer tube... its impossible that this is compatible with AR15 uppers. Therefore, NOT a variant.

Sure, but did you forget what the RCMP did with those AR-looking Turkish shotguns, or the ATRS Modern Hunter and Modern Sporter?

Lets assume you're right and that its not an AR15 variant.

Doesn't C21 prohibit new semi-auto designs that are meant to accept detachable magazines of 5+ rounds?

pretty sure anything after the recent OIC is pre-emptively banned. Civilian firearms technology is capped at 2023 in Canada now. So when the firearms industry ACTUALLY makes some new innovating products we won't be able to purchase them.

Anything "DESIGNED AFTER THE BILL RECEIVED ROYAL ASCENT" on Jan 14 2024...

Pretty sure you're talkin out of your neck...

Anyone bring one of these over yet? What's the deal with bringing a firearm across the border that doesn't have an FRT entry?
You can't. Gotta send a sample to the Lab and get an FRT before you can import a new model. Canada-made guns don't need an FRT per se, but anything made elsewhere needs an FRT before we can get our hands on it.

It says designed AND manufactured. So assuming this design predates Dec 15 2023 it should be legal here. If it doesn't get deemed a variant.

They will probably let this one in, because its so bloody expensive most people can't afford one.
