Noob question kinda about custom rifle stock color stuff

Hey so the GF wants a red and black 243 blah blah blah …..

What’s the best way to go about customizing a stock for red or red / black options
I’ve had scopes and the gun / metal hydro dipped …… could you get a synthetic stock dipped as well and it’s durable ?

Or just get a gun and go to stock makers like Boyd’s and swap stocks or ????

My Wife went through a few Boyd's stocks on different rifles one was a red and black thumbhole, I forget the make of rifle, She liked it, She now has a Tikka and decided on blue and black, the bonus is although a thumbhole is a poor design for a hunting stock it seemed to help with felt recoil and She is very sensitive.
