IPSC Ontario Provincial Championship

It appears that no [one] club is willing to step forward and host the IPSC Ontario Provincial. I think if a number of clubs submitted a single stage that they would set up would be of great benefit to everyone. It would take the pressure off of an individual club to host the event. The bay layout of the site selected would be made available to all clubs. Set up would be a lot easier on everyone. I think Silverdale or Barrie Gun Club would be a great sites but there are others as well. This has been done in the past at Base Borden (not provincials) and has worked well.

We have had several IPSC matches in the past . Ideal venue. I'm sure Silverdale would be glad to rent the range to IPSC - but IPSC would have to run the match.

Recently I worked a Provincial match for 4 days and did not shoot it. As well, I sponsored a stage. For my efforts I received SFA, not even a 'thank you' and had trouble getting a receipt for the sponsorship money. These days I hesitate to volunteer for anything

When he says recent he means two years ago...I know he did not work Provincials at GRGC in 2007 and if he did I know he would have been thanked by me personally and by RM's and also from my CRO's.
